Our Mission

Poke It Forward is built on a simple idea: collectors helping collectors.

We're tired of driving across town only to find empty shelves. We're tired of calling stores and getting "maybe?" as an answer. We're tired of wasting gas, time, and hope on guesswork.

So we built something better. A tool where the community shares real-time info about what's actually on shelves, right now, today. When you report what you find, you help someone else save a wasted trip. When someone else reports, they help you.

This isn't about beating bots or fighting resellers. It's about being excellent to each other. It's about showing up for your fellow collectors. It's about making the hobby a little less frustrating and a lot more fun.

View real-time reports from other collectors in your area. Green markers mean cards are in stock, red means out of stock, and gray means no recent reports.

When you visit a store, take 10 seconds to report what you found. Quality reports that help others can earn you free weeks!

Vote on reports to keep information accurate. The community decides what's helpful and what's not.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the voting system mean?

Each report has "Caught it!" (✅) and "Missed!" (❌) buttons. Click ✅ if you visited the store and confirmed the report is accurate. Click ❌ if you went and the info was wrong. This keeps our data trustworthy!

How do I earn free weeks?

Submit a report. If it gets 3+ upvotes within 48 hours, you automatically earn a free week! Your subscription will pause for 7 days as a thank you for contributing quality info. Hot tips work the same way - 3+ upvotes = free week!

Why do I need a subscription?

Poke It Forward costs $5/month to help cover server costs, map hosting, and keep the lights on. Plus, it keeps the community serious - people who pay attention contribute better data. You can try it free to start!

What are "Trusted Users"?

Users who consistently submit accurate reports earn Trusted status. Trusted users' reports are highlighted and carry more weight in the community. It's our way of recognizing reliable contributors!

Can I add stores not on the map?

Absolutely! Click the "Add Store" button on the homepage. Search for the store using Google Places, select it, and submit. The store will be added to the map immediately.

How recent are the reports?

Reports stay green/red for 24 hours. After that, they turn gray (stale) until someone submits a fresh update. Always check the timestamp on each report!

What cities are supported?

We're starting in Fort Collins, CO and nearby areas (Timnath, Loveland, Windsor). If the app takes off, we'll expand to more cities based on demand!

Is my data private?

We only collect what's needed: email for your account, display name (optional), and reports you submit. We never sell data. Your reputation score and contribution stats are visible to encourage community participation.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! Cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period. No hard feelings!
